Disputes involving trees are common. Issues can range from fatal accidents to view obstruction and from tree and plant loss to tree value appraisal. Many legal professionals, claims adjusters, and tree owners find themselves in situations that require expert analysis and advise. Such circumstances demand objectivity, transparency, and arboricultural expertise. In order to provide timely, accurate, and unbiased expertise to my clients, I know that I must be well-versed in technical writing and deposition skills. Because of this need, I regularly attend legal workshops and clinics across the country. Since 1996, I have attended over 400 hours of continuing education classes, seminars, and workshops. In these classes I have studied hazard-tree assesment, tree physiology and biology, and the patterns of damage and decay as they relate to tree stability. The instructors of these classes are recognized experts and researchers from around the world. I have also studied legal ethics and practice management under renowned legal professionals and Federal Judges. I use the knowledge I gain from these industry leaders during every tree evaluation I perform. I believe that my clients deserve accurate information and objective insight as they make important decisions. As a praciticing Certified Arborist since 1996, I have the necessary experience and skills to accurately evaluate arboricultural situations. As a member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists and as a graduate of the ASCA technical writing and consulting acadamy, I have the ability to objectively find and defend relevent facts as they pertain to tree-related disputes. Whether your looking for help in the initial stages of a tree-related dispute or if your searching for an expert witness who you can take to trial, know that the "Arbor-Advisor" stands ready to assist! |
